BIOGRAPHY
Nine Wide Sky is a Boulder-based Alternative Rock/Pop band consisting of Beau Harding (drums/backing vocal), Andy Harrington (bass/lead vocal/guitar), and Mark Kranjcec (guitar). They share a love of 80's pop, 90's rock, hip hop, EDM, and whatever "just sounds cool".

Beau and Andy were introduced in the 90’s while playing in various bands around the Boulder area but didn't collaborate until 2016 when they were fortuitously reconnected. Beau had some song ideas but no singer. Andy had a collection of riffs and melodies but no drummer. As an experiment, the duo swapped scratch recordings, then overdubbed their parts over the other's original idea. The two first songs to emerge were "Universe" and "Time is Broken". They made their debut performance at Roots Music Project in July of 2023.

Mark and Beau had played previously in several other projects. After sitting in with the duo several times, by the fall of 2024 it was pretty obvious Mark was in the band.

Andy moved to Boulder in 1993 with a music degree and not much else. He honed his song-writing skills in Rhino2Rhino, a local 3-piece band that emphasized 3-part harmonies and strong melodies.

A life-long fan of 80's and 90's rock and pop, Andy more recently developed an appreciation of hip hop and EDM.

Boulder native Beau Harding has toured and recorded professionally since the 1990's with artists such as Lee Nestor and Jeff Brinkman.
When he's not busy playing drums and singing, he's either buying gear or considering buying gear. A recent convert to electronic drums, and piloting backing tracks, Beau experiments with different sounds depending on what the song calls for.
